Katherine Bruens

Katherine Bruens - Producer/Director/Writer/Editor
Since graduating from Reed College with a BA in Comparative Literature, Katherine has focused her work on film production, drawing heavily on her understanding of story structure and character development to direct and produce Corner Store. Living and working in San Francisco, Katherine devotes her time to a variety of types of production induding both the commerical and independent film worlds. She is currently working with her partner Sean Gillane on a new feature narrative, CXL.

Sean Gillane - Director of Photography/Writer
After earning his BS in Film from San Diego State University and working at a small production company for two years, Sean moved to the San Francisco Bay Area where has has become actively engaged in the local film community. Having the good fortune to meet a handful of like-minded creatives, he has been able to explore several different aspects of the production process in great depth. He is currently deep in post production with his new feature, CXL.

Hadley Dynak

Hadley Dynak - Producer
Hadley’s interest in video and multimedia production grew out of her background in public health and her commitment to social issues. After several years of planning and implementing service programs, she started looking for a more creative way to communicate public health messages. She has been directing and producing nonfiction short form pieces for local and national organizations for the last ten years. She has also helped produce a number of longer pieces for public television and theatrical distribution, including the Emmy-award winning "Bridge So Far" about the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge reconstruction project. When she is not working on social issues, she is spending time with her two daughters, doing yoga, or working on her own creative writing and multimedia endeavors.

Alley Pezanoski-Browne Alley Pezanoski-Browne - Associate Producer
Since graduating with a B.S. degree in Radio/Television/Film and Sociology, which integrated her love of film and interest social issues, Alison (Alley) Pezanoski-Browne has been working as a freelance documentary producer. As an Associate Producer for Smush Media, she produced the feature-length documentary MINE and assisted with the production of the feature-length documentary Motherland, both winners of Audience Awards at the 2009 South By Southwest Film Festival. In 2007, she received a U.S. Fulbright Research Grant to produce a short documentary in Hong Kong. Additionally she has assisted on projects for the Discovery Channel and the National Geographic Channel. While working at TheAuteurs.com, a video-on-demand site and social recommendation engine for film-lovers, she also continues to produce and shoot independent documentaries in the Bay Area.

Caitlin Ryan - Associate Producer
Caitlin is currently a senior at the University of San Francisco studying Journalism and Film. Throughout her college years, she's assisted in production with film and television companies such as the Discovery Channel, Current TV, and Citizen Film. Caitlin has also directed and produced two short documentaries: The Bike Kitchen (2008), and The View From Room 20 (2008), which screened at the Human Rights Film Festival in 2009. Later that year, she was selected to participate in the Telluride Film Festival Student Symposium in Colorado. Caitlin recently directed the student's showcase for the 2010 Human Rights Film Festival, is News Producer for her campus' television station, and is on the Board of Directors for USF's Women in Media organization. After graduating, she will pursue a career in documentary filmmaking following her passion to use media to reveal truths, not only about global issues or human nature, but also about ourselves.

Jacky Schuler Jacquelyn Schuler - Post Production Supervisor
Jacquelyn Schuler is a freelance editor, videographer and motion graphics designer living in Oakland, CA. She has worked in all aspects of film and video production, including most recently a documentary entitled Greed: Robbing America’s Health. In addition, she has worked on several feature films, commercials, and other video productions. She graduated from the University of South Carolina with a bachelor’s degree in Media Arts with a minor in Film Studies.
Harald Boyesen - Composer
Harald Boyesen A Swedish composer who started his music career in San Francisco 2003 scoring commercials and short films. Since then, he has written music for multiple international Tour de France TV commercials, award winning short films, and has had three independent albums released. These include Blenka, Girls n Boomboxes, and Funcshen.
